Bringing your spouse (husband or wife) with you immediately or within one year of your relocation is something that we can also help you with. On top of your own documents you will need a few more. But don't you worry, simply follow the list below, download the mentioned documents from our site, fill them out, sign them and return them to us digitally in an email:
Filled by you:
- A copy of your personal HSM visa: valid for at least a year.
- Appendix Authorisation and sponsorship declaration that you request to sponsor your spouse.
- Legalized/translated marriage certificate: Every country has a different system but the main steps are translation to officially accepted languages and legalization of the document (official stamp to declare that the translated version is of equal value to the original). You can check your options based on your country of origin in the official site of netherlandsworldwide.
Filled by your spouse:
- Copy of the passport of your spouse: it needs to be valid for at least 1 year.
- Clean Criminal Record Declaration: Everyone who is above the age of 12 must fill in the Appendix Antecedents Certificate, to indicate whether you have ever committed an offence or crime and pose a danger to the public or national security.
- Declare that the spouse will undergo a TB (tuberculosis) test after arriving in the Netherlands: unless your nationality is on the TB test exemption list.
